Lekki Britsh School Announces Entrance Examination Date

Lekki British School, an International school that provides the highest possible standard of education to its students, enabling them to compete in an increasingly competitive global environment. The school is located on Victoria Arobieke, Off Admiralty Way, Lekki Phase 1, Lagos.

Lekki British School was established in September 2000 on a 25-acre campus within the Lekki Peninsula part of Lagos in South Western, Nigeria. Lekki British High School is the first British Boarding school in Lagos Nigeria. It consists of the following schools:
Lekki British Pre School
Lekki British Junior School
Lekki British High School

LBS aims to allow every child discover and develop their unique talents within a disciplined and caring traditional British environment.

Their mission statement is "To provide an environment in which each individual is assisted to discover his or her academic potential in study, sports and personal development". Lekki British High School has a unique ethos of excellence that permeates all aspects of school life, making the experience of learning holistic as students have access to support, advice and guidance.

LBS is currently enrolling for the 2018/2019 academic session. Interested applicants can pick up the form at the school premises before the entrance exam date. The Entrance Examination is slated to hold on the 2nd of December, 2017 at the school's hall.

According to the Spokesperson of the school, as many students transfer from various curricula, prospective students are required to take an entrance examination and also go through an informal interview which would form part of the overall assessment. Admission into the school will not be based on ethnic, religious or social grounds.

An expert in the  housing sector and the Managing Director of Symphony Garden City, Lagos State, Mr. Bola Adeboye has identified the strict policies of the government as factors responsible for low investment in housing sector by foreign investors. Adeboye lamented that the polices of the government on housing has become unbearable for investors hence the reason why they avoid the sector. The Managing Director who spoke after his Investors' Forum on the proposed Symphony Garden Estate at Ogudu, Oworo - Shoki area of Lagos state decried the rate investors move their investment from Nigeria to other countries because of its stiff policies. World Remembers America 9/11, After 17years.

On this day  Tuesday September 11, 2001, by 8.46am to 10. 28am (EDT), what looks like a James Bond Film took place in America known as 9/11. A well coordinated terrorist attacks by Islamic terror group Al-Qaeda attacked America. The two plane crashed into the the north and south tower of the World Trade Center. Both building which are 110 and 42 Storey collapsed after 1hr 42 mins, trapping many who are trying to escape including firefighters on the building.
