NIGERIA PRESIDENT BUHARI APPOINTS 13 EXECUTIVES FOR AGENCIES..

President Muhammadu Buhari has approved the appointment of 13 Chief Executives in some parastatals and agencies, thereby marking an end to the tenure of various occupants of the positions. A statement issued on Monday evening by the Director of Press and Public Relations in the Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Bolaji Adebiyi, with Ref. No. PPR/OSGF/PR/03, said the appointments were approved by President Muhammadu Buhari. While Joseph Ari was named Director-General of Industrial Training Fund, Dr. Isa Ali Ibrahim (Pantami), becomes the Director-General of National Information Technology Development Agency. The government also appointed Engr. Simbi Kesiye Wabote, Executive Secretary of Nigerian Content Monitoring Board, while Osita Anthony Aboloma becomes DG of Standard Organisation of Nigeria. Mamman Amadu is the DG of Bureau of Public Procurement, while the mantle of leadership in Pension Transitional Arrangement Directorate fell on Sharon Ikeazor.

BUHARI MOSES OF NIGERIA SAYS VICE PRESIDENT OSINBAJO.

Vice-President Yemi Osinbajo says President Muhammadu Buhari is taking Nigeria out of the wilderness just as Moses took the children of Israel out of Egypt to the Promised Land. He said this at the 56th Independence Anniversary Interdenominational Church Service at the National Christian Centre, Abuja, on Sunday. Osinbajo said the promise of God, includes building a new Nigeria where there would be peace from North-East to the Niger Delta, and where there would be jobs for the unemployed. Osinbajo urged Nigerians to see beyond what is happening instead of asking to ‘return to Egypt.’ In his words Osinbajo said “We are on our way out of the wilderness.
