PLAYBOY MAGAZINE FOUNDER, HUGH HEFNER DIES AT 91. ENTERTAINMENT WORLD MOURNS HIM.

Hugh Hefner founder and editor-in-chief of Playboy Magazine is dead. He died at the age of 91.
The iconic founder of the world most acclaimed raunchy magazine died peacefully in the Playboy Mansion a statement has said. He is said to have died of “natural causes” according to Playboy Enterprises.


Hefner stated Playboy Magazine over six decades ago with nudity as the core of their publications. The first edition featured Marilyn Monroe and it was an instant success. It would however be recalled that Hugh started Playboy with just $600 and another $1000 he got from his mum to become one of the biggest publishing brands worth over $200Million before his death.
He also established the Playboy Mansion.
“My father lived an exceptional and impactful life as a media and cultural pioneer and a leading voice behind some of the most significant social and cultural movements of our time in advocating free speech, civil rights and sexual freedom,” his son and Playboy Enterprises’ chief creative officer
Cooper Hefner said in a statement.
