WORLD CELEBRATES INTERNATIONAL WOMEN'S DAY

Today 8th march 2017 is celebrated all over the world as International Women’s Day. This year Theme is #BeBoldForChange. Is a day set aside to recognize the importance of women and their achievements to national development. This is done irrespective of their national, ethnic, linguistic, cultural, economic or political background’
IWD enables women to look back on the struggles and important past achievements with a view of unraveling the immense gift or potentials that future generation of women needs to explore.
The 8th of march is now annually celebrated in some countries while some have even made it to be an official holiday for women take the examples in Nepal, Madagascar, China, Vietnam, Afghanistan, Cambodia, Mongolia and Zambia.
In Lagos Nigeria, Enterprise Development Centre which provides support services for  SMES through Capacity building, Advisory services, Mentoring, Access to market and Partnerships in conjunction with Diamond Bank of Nigeria, today are celebrating women Entrepreneurship with some women speakers that has excelled in their fields in a topic Changing and Impacting  women.
The Nigeria Stock Exchange Lagos, also has an event with the topic “Transcending Gender Limitations”  with notable women as panelists, Prof Bolanle Awe OFR, Betty Irabor, Ngozi Edozien, Ronke Sokefun. Tinuade Awe and Pai Gamde.
Wishing all the unsung women all over the world HAPPY INTERNATIONAL WOMENS DAY. LONG LIVE NIGERIA WOMEN.

An expert in the  housing sector and the Managing Director of Symphony Garden City, Lagos State, Mr. Bola Adeboye has identified the strict policies of the government as factors responsible for low investment in housing sector by foreign investors. Bride Price Not The Issue In Igboland, But Unilateral Marriage Rites.

Elders in Igboland should unite and present a uniformed Bride Price and Traditional rites as regards what kinsmen, umuada, umu agboho, etc should be given. In so doing the arbitrary Bride Price and Traditional rites of gifts for various bodies will not be as abused as is obtained today. If a palm wine tapper can marry in a community, what stops a man from USA? There should be a standard bride price for the rich and the poor tapper.

Nigeria Falconets Experienced Enough to Win Tanzania on Saturday - COACH.

The head coach of Nigeria female U-20 team, Falconets, Christopher Danjuma, said he has players with the experience to beat the Tanzanians in the Africa qualifier for the 2018 female U-20 World Cup. Danjuma who spoke with the News Agency of Nigeria（NAN）on Wednesday in Benin, said the team was mentally and physically prepared to face the East African team on Saturday in Benin. He said weeks of intensive training and preparation had placed the Falconets in a good stead to beat their opponent in the Africa qualifying series. “Nigeria is a big country and do not settle for less but the best.
