‘I’m alive and well’ – Don Moen counters death rumour While the rumour about his death was raging, Don was busy celebrating 4 generations in Minnesota today. In a picture was his Dad, Son John holding Bennett and him holding Luke. Love my family. There appears to be no iota of truth in the earlier death rumour of popular American gospel musician, Don Moen, as the singer, on Wednesday, in a simple twit on his twitter handle dispelled the speculation. In the said tweet, the singer had uploaded a family photo of himself, his father, his own son and two of his grandchildren reportedly taken today.

CULTIST MURDERED NDA UNDERGRADUATE, FAMILY DEMANDS JUSTICE.

Saviour Enoch, an undergraduate of the Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA), Kaduna, was on Saturday night in Yenagoa, Bayelsa State, killed by persons suspected to be members of a cult.  On Monday, his family urged security agencies in the state to find his killers and bring them to justice. Ovieakini Enoch, the deceased’s uncle, said that 20-year old Saviour was shot dead at about 8 p.m. on the Gwegwe/Naval Road in Ovom, Yenagoa Local Government Area Saviour Enoch, an undergraduate of the Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA), Kaduna, was on Saturday night in Yenagoa, Bayelsa State, killed by persons suspected to be members of a cult.  On Monday, his family urged security agencies in the state to find his killers and bring them to justice. 

ALAFIN OF OYO ADDS MOUNTH ON RESTRUCTURING, BULK OF NIGERIA OIL MONEY GOES TO THE NORTHERN PART OF THE COUNTRY.

The bulk of Nigeria’s oil money goes to northern part of the country with successive military regimes unduly favouring a section of the country at the expense of other geopolitical zones in the land, hence the need for the nation to restructure if there must be equity, justice and fair play. With the above position, the Alaafin of Oyo, Oba Lamidi Adeyemi, Monday joined the agitation for the restructuring of Nigeria. Alaafin spoke at the launch of a biography and postscript titled: ‘Samuel Ladoke Akintola in the Eyes of History,’ written by Femi Kehinde. At the event, Alaafin traced the historic feud between the late Akintola and the late Obafemi Awolowo, noting that the first federal government’s interference in state affairs happened during the dispute between the two Yoruba politicians, which led to the crisis witnessed in the South-west and ultimately in the death of Akintola. NDDC Chairman NDOMA EGBA Pledges To Support Universities In Niger Delta.

The Chairman Governing Board of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), Sen. Victor Ndoma-Egba, has expressed the willingness of the Commission to support Universities in the region. Ndoma-Egba said this in a statement issued in Abuja on Monday by Mrs Clara Braide, Special Adviser Communication to the Chairman, NDDC. Braide quoted the NDDC Chairman when the Pro Chancellor and Chairman of the Governing Council of the Federal University of Technology, Owerri, (FUTO), Prof. John Offem led a delegation of the 11th Governing Council of the University to visit the NDDC Office in Abuja.
