WICKEDNESS AS 61 YEAR OLD MAN KEPT A 10 YEAR OLD GIRL IN HOTEL FOR 10 MONTHS AND CONTINUALLY SLEPT WITH HER.

              A 61-year-old man, Timothy Onyeukwu, who allegedly camped a 10-year-old girl in a hotel for months and having canal knowledge of her at will, has been arrested in Abia State. Onyeukwu was arrested following intelligence policing strategy of the state Police CommanThe suspect was paraded alongside a fake Nestle food manufacturer, armed robbery suspects, burglars and cultists, before newsmen on Wednesday. Parading the suspects, the Commissioner of Police, Adeleye Oyebade, said the operatives of the Central Police Station Aba, swung into action and arrested the man. He added that the victim had been taken to hospital for medical attention. “The suspect confessed to have been sleeping with the little girl for months in the hotel,” the CP added, noting that the suspected rapist will be charged to court soon. Three suspects alleged to have kidnapped and killed a Dangote employee say they murdered the victim because he got them angry after bringing N5.6m instead of the N10m agreed ransom. The suspects who are Fulani herdsmen have been transferred from the Force headquarters in Abuja to the Special Anti-Robbery Squad, Ikeja, Lagos One of the suspects, Saliu, an indigene of Kano state, said they were led by one Alti, who fired the shot that killed Bello, the Dangote staff. Minister of Youth and Sports Development, Solomon Dalung have urged eminent Nigerians home and abroad to encourage programmes targeted at inspiring young people to greatness. The Minister disclosed this in Abuja when he was decorated as a Patron of the Nigerians in the Diaspora Mentoring Corps, (NIDMECORP) by its Commandant General, Alistair Soyode. Dalung who emphasized on the need for young people to be mentored, said youths can be easily distracted and discouraged from achieving their goals if proper mentorship is not followed. According to him, 'the problem of Nigerian youths is not poverty but poverty of knowledge'. The Minister while calling on the youths to re-discover themselves and avoid anything that will lead them to violence and corruption, noted that there is a wide gap between the leaders and the youths.
