MOST REPUBLICANS IN AMERICA WANTS PRESIDENT TRUMP TO RELEASE HIS TAX RETURNS.

Sixty-four percent of Republicans think that President Trump should publicly release his tax returns, according to a survey conducted by Global Strategy Group.
The survey results were released ahead of organized tax marches planned for Saturday, rallies being held across the country to demand that Trump release his returns. Groups involved in the event include MoveOn.org, the American Federation of Teachers and the National Women's Law Center.
"The poll is very clear in terms of what Americans are looking for," Global Strategy Group President Jefrey Pollock said in a call with reporters.

"Americans do care about this," said MoveOn.org Campaign Director Justin Krebs.
Trump has said he won't release his tax returns because of an IRS audit. However, the IRS has said that audits don't bar people from making their own tax information public.
In addition to surveying people about Trump's tax returns, Global Strategy Group also asked voters about their thoughts on tax reform. Overhauling the tax code is a top agenda item for Trump and congressional Republicans, who have proposed lowering tax rates for businesses and individuals.
Ninety-two percent of those surveyed think there are currently too many tax loopholes for wealthy people, and 90 percent there are too many loopholes for corporations.
A majority of voters support repealing the estate tax, lowering capital gains rates and lowering the top individual tax rate. But most voters also favor increasing taxes on the top 1 percent of voters and requiring millionaires to pay a minimum of 30 percent of their income in taxes, according to the survey.
The survey was conducted online from April 5 through April 9, and 1,211 registered voters participated.
