BREAKING:Catholic Church In Anambra State Invaded by Gunmen, Police confirms 11 Dead.

Gunmen numbering about 5 invaded St Philips Catholic Church, Amakwa Ozubulu, Ekwusigo Local Government Area, Anambra state and killed over 50 worshippers(still unconfirmed). Latest report says many have died in the hospital. According to an eyewitness, the gunmen invaded the church around 7:30 am today, Sunday, August 6th, 2017 The death toll is on the increase as the injured and the dead bodies have been taken to Nnamdi Azikiwe University Teaching Hospital, Nnewi. All the doctors and pharmacists attending mass in the hospital have retired to the theatre and casualty units for surgeries and treatment. The church was built by a South African-based business man and philanthropist, popularly known as Bishop. According to reports, Bishop left the town yesterday before today's unfortunate incident. GOVERNOR EL-RUFIA JUSTIFIES THUGS ATTACKS ON LAW MAKERS AND JOURNALISTS IN KADUNA

The Kaduna State governor, Malam Nasir El’Rufai has recently defended the attacks on Lawmakers and Journalists in Kaduna at the Kaduna State Chapter of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) on the 30th of July 2017. The Governor said the Lawmakers were attacked because they have not been performing since they were sworn into office as legislators, and also added that the journalists were attacked because they played host to the Lawmakers. This was made known through the Special Adviser (Political), Hon Uba Sani, during an interview he anchored in Hausa on the local Nagarta Radio in Kaduna yesterday. Senators Shehu Sani (Kaduna Central), Suleiman Hunkuyi (Kaduna North), and other House of Representatives members from the state were to address the press in protest when the attack occurred. The lawmakers alleged that governor El’Rufai undemocratically compiled names of party officers of the state APC and single-handedly submitted the list to the National headquarters.

Fate Foundation boss tasks FG on entrepreneurship education Mrs Nike Adeyemi, Executive Director, Fate Foundation, has urged the Federal Government of Nigeria to implement the teaching of entrepreneurship education in the nation’s primary schools to fast track economic growth. Adeyemi made the appeal on Monday in Lagos during a panel discussion at the launch of a Minipreneur Book. Minipreneur is a 40-page lessons and tasks book that would assist children within the ages of five to 12 years to understand entrepreneurship and business. The book was written by Mrs Olanrewaju Oniyitan, the Chief Executive Officer, W-Holistic Business Solution, a Business Development Service Provider (BDSP) for Bank of Industry (BoI). Real Madrid footballer Cristiano Ronaldo has said he has "never hidden anything" and denied allegations of tax evasion during an appearance at a Spanish court on Monday. Prosecutors in Spain have accused the Portugal captain -- the world's highest-paid sports star according to Forbes -- of defrauding Spanish authorities of €14.7 million ($16.4 million) in tax between 2011 and 2014. The hearing at Pozuelo de Alarcon, in the outskirts of Madrid, was closed to the public as it is part of an ongoing investigation.
