THREE BOMB EXPLOSIONS NEAR BORUSSIA DORTMUND BUS IN GERMANY LED TO GAME POSTPONEMENT

Borussia Dortmund’s game against Monaco has been postponed until Wednesday after their team bus was involved in an explosion ahead of their Champions League quarter-final tie, with defender Marc Bartra reported to have been taken to hospital. A statement from local police said: “In the run-up to the Champions League match of BVB against AS Monaco, there was an explosion near the BVB team teambus shortly after 7pm. The location of the event is Wittbräuckerstraße/Schirrmannweg in Dortmund-Höchsten. “According to current knowledge the wheels of the bus (whole or partial) burst and one person was injured. It is not yet possible to say exactly what the explosion was or exactly where something exploded.”

Speaking exclusively in an interview with CKN News this morning, the Corps Marshal of the FRSC Dr Boboye Oyeyemi through the Head Media and Strategy of FRSC Bisi Kazeem said the Sector Commander and his officers went beyond the mandate of the Commission by publicly cutting off hair of erring staff.

Rivers State Chapter of All Progressive Congress (APC) has reacted to the defection of some of its top members to the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP. In a reaction that was contained in a statement signed by APC spokesman, Chris Finebone on Thursday ​ . ​ The APC called it “ ​ inconsequential and worthless defections have become the easiest means PDP leaders use to pocket Wike’s money in MMM-like money-making schemes”. It added that the defection of the chieftains to the PDP was a show of shame. ​ Some of the statements are  “Let it be on record that important APC stakeholders in Asari-Toru LGA have a dossier on the romance between Orolosama Amachree and the PDP in ASALGA over time.

The Kano State Police Command has arrested one Muntari Umar for allegedly asking his friend Saleh Abdullahi to kill his mother. According to the police command spokesperson Dsp Magaji Majiya, Saleh the killer of the septuagenarian mother of Muntari is also in their custody. The two friends conspired to kill the old woman.  Mrs Zinab Abu was killed by Saleh after he was incited by the dead womans son Muntari.
